Question: I really love this guy but he doesn’t love me back, will he ever be my boyfriend? Should I just forget about him?
Answer: Aaah love … deep, meaningful, head over heels, “I want to grow old with you” L-O-V-E – love is such a beautiful thing …
Love in general might be beautiful, but it’s only beautiful if both the man and the woman feel the same way for each other. If it’s only a one way thing, then it’s not really beautiful – in fact, Love is a “bitch!”
You can quote me on that if you want.
Now what I’m about to say might be hard to accept, but I’m going to be straight with you for your own good – sometimes LETTING GO is the best thing to do.
If he’s not into you, then MOVE ON.
You know what they say right? If you love him, set him free. And if he comes back, then you’re meant to be.
SO FORGET ABOUT HIM.
Let me be harsh and state the obvious: He DOESN’T LOVE YOU, therefore he will NEVER be your boyfriend.
It’s not rocket science.
Sorry for sounding insensitive, but sometimes, people just need a wakeup call in their lives so that they can finally see the light.
Stop dwelling on a man who seems remotely interested in you, you have to get on with your life. Now this might sound really cliché, but there are plenty of fishes in the sea. Time heals all wounds, so although it might seem impossible to forget him right now, trust me it will get better in time.
Ironically, the best way to actually give yourself the best chance of getting him interested in you is to NOT MAKE AN EFFORT . . . instead, move on and start seeing other people because you’re just never going to make him feel any attraction towards you by continuing to remain in his life. It would be nice if things worked out that way, but unfortunately it doesn’t work like that.
So what’s the best thing to do then?
Start getting back in the saddle. Start dating again ASAP. Not next week, and not next month. Start dating again NOW. You don’t have to get in a relationship just yet, you’re just getting to know new people, and you’re just having fun and living your life.
Next time he calls, tell him you’re busy because you have an upcoming date, or you’re in the middle of something so you can’t talk for too long. Of course, make sure IT’S TRUE, otherwise it can turn around and bite you in the hiney.
Get on with your life.
If you find yourself thinking about him, missing him and wanting to hear his voice, just remember: Sometimes people have to LOSE you so that they can realise how much you’re WORTH.
