Is Emma Watson dead??
by Miranda Holmes on July 25th, 2009 · posted in Celebrity News with a TWIST · 3 CommentsReports have circulated all over the internet declaring that Emma Watson has died in a car crash.
She was apparently killed whilst being driven back to the hotel after a screening of her latest movie, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince.
Details surrounding her death are still a bit vague, but based on the reports circulating around the internet; an unknown car apparently appeared out of nowhere and collided with her vehicle. Emma Watson was reported to have died at the scene of the accident.
Right … right…
And here’s some more breaking news to add to that story: Harry Potter instantly arrived at the scene in his magic broom wearing nothing but whipped cream all over his body. Ron was right behind him as well in a sexy bunny rabbit costume. And the moment they saw the lifeless body of Emma they both held hands, chanted a few spells and voila! Emma is back to life!
If you’re still not following, then let me make it clear – Emma Watson is NOT DEAD. She’s the latest celebrity to become subject to nasty death rumours via the internet.
In fact, Emma Watson is alive, kicking – and probably memorizing some more spells to prepare for her next role as Hermione Granger in the hit Harry Potter series.
Now you might have seen this version of the story:
Los Angeles, CA- Millions are in shock after Emma Watson died overnight in a car crash. The 19 year-old actress, most famous for her roles in the Harry Potter films, was killed while being driven back to hotel after a screening of her latest movie, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, when a car collided with her vehicle. Watson is reported to have died at the scene. Her relatives have so far refused to comment, only quoting that they are ‘too distraught’ to speak with the media.
Police are questioning witnesses about two men who reportedly fled the scene following the crash. The two men are said to be in their early twenties, one Caucasian and the other Hispanic. Anyone with information is urged to contact the authorities immediately.
Or maybe this:
On July 24, 2009, Watson was en route to her mansion in Oxfordshire, England. Police footage captured her driving with speeds up to 80 miles per hour on very narrow roads. Oxfordshire paramedics received a 999 call at 12:22 p.m. (GMT), about a sport car having crashed into a wall at a petrol station. At this point it was still unknown that the victim was indeed Emma Watson. Three minutes after the call got through, paramedics arrived at Watson’s location. She was reportedly not breathing and the car was total loss. After 5 minutes the Oxfordshire Fire Department managed to get Watson out of her car. Resuscitation efforts continued en route to the Oxfordshire’s Medical Centre, and for an hour after arriving there at 1:45 p.m. (GMT). She was pronounced dead at 2:10 p.m. (GMT).
Hmm ….
Now the big question is: Where the hell did this come from?? People have been forwarding and reposting this crap yet it’s not even clear where they actually came from. If it was true that Emma was indeed dead, wouldn’t the story be a headline on a number of credible news outlets??
I strongly suggest that you disregard this hoax, as it is possible that whoever is behind this con trick has the word “NASTY” written all over his/her forehead. Malfoy probably made the whole thing up.
Until a number of credible news outlets confirm Emma’s death, this info can just be chucked in the bin just like the rest of the garbage you come across in the internet!
