Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen

Mind-blowing special effects, breathtaking action sequences, an engaging lead actor and Megan Fox’s abs all combined to make the first Transformers the box-office mammoth of 2007.  Now, Michael Bay is back and even Steven Spielberg calls the new movie: “Awesome!”

In Transformers 2, Sam Witwicky (Shia LeBeouf) is now in college, in a long-distance with Megan’s Mikaela Banes and still friends with Optimus and the rest of the Autobots.  He finds himself the target of revenge from the Decepticons as they try and imprison him.

There are new Autobots, (Jetfire, The Twins,) and Decepticons (The Doctor, Ravage, The Constructicons that combine to form Devastator) and among the humans, Josh Duhamel’s Captain Lennox and Tyrese Gibson’s Segeant Epps are also back.  So is John Turturro’s Agent Simmons of the now defunct Sector 7.

As usual with Michael Bay, bigger is better. So be prepared for an all-action thrill ride that sees our heroes battle the bad guys all over the world!
