Triple toddler trouble for Lil Wayne in 2009!
by Nic Robertson on January 12th, 2010 · posted in Music · 1 Comment
2009 was a very busy year for rap-cum-rock superstar, Lil Wayne, and interestingly enough it seems to be his libido taking centre stage ahead of his music. After the birth of his second child for 09 with singer Nivea, his official tally is now at four.
Entering the world of fatherhood at the ripe old age of 15, Wayne’s first two children were both born to his high-school sweetheart, Antonia Johnson, whom he later married and then divorced. After flying under the radar for a couple of years, he then announced the birth of his third child to actress Lauren London late in 2009.
As if two children and two new baby mamas weren’t enough for the year, Wayne was also named by a third woman as having done the deed and planted the seed. This was never confirmed, nor claimed by Wayne, but it may have been influenced by the fact that the woman in question was an exotic dancer working at popular LA gentleman’s club, Spearmint Rhino.
Perhaps what is most surprising here is that Lil Wayne managed to achieve all of this despite the fact that he openly uses (and has also been arrested for possession of) marijuana – a drug which has been medically proven to lower fertility.
If 2009 was anything to go by, Lil Wayne’s next single could quite possibly be a cover of 50 Cent’s “Baby By Me”, but at very least he might want to consider grabbing a copy of 50’s new self-help book “The 50th Law”.
US president Barack Obama may also want to consider a rewrite of future motivational speeches, after using Wayne on a number of occasions to illustrate the portrait of success in addresses to the nation’s African American youth, saying “You are probably not that good a rapper. Maybe you are the next Lil’ Wayne, but probably not, in which case you need to stay in school…”
