I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again: I LOVE AWARDS SEASON. This week it’s our music star’s time to shine in the fashion stakes. So who rocked it out, and who tried too hard?

Jennifer Hudson: Definately one of the best dressed of the night. She uses her curves for the better, embracing this figure-hugging piece. Black will never go out of fashion. This is exactly how to wear an LBD- with class and confidence! The hair sweeped off her face lets the dress do the talking. Take notes girls!

Miley Cyrus: She’s dressed her age- cute, fun and flirty. Love that she’s gone for a long sleeve; it balances with the length of the dress. There’s something about the hair I don’t like- maybe a forhead chain would have topped off the look. Not sure about the red nails either- they don’t really tie in with anything.

Rhianna:I love the bottom half of the dress, up to about her waist. And then it gets a bit crazy. Rhi-Rhi is renowned for taking fashion risks, but for such a sexy lady, I would get rid of all the fuzz going on and have kept the dress sleek and elegant- maybe a dropped cleavage. I like the shoulders, because we all know they’re a big deal at the moment. I’m hating the hair- grow it back!

Lady Gaga: I never thought I’d say this…but here goes nothing…I like what Lady Gaga is wearing! I mean, for anyone else it would be too extreme and crazy, but for Miss Gaga, I think it’s definately one of her better fashion moments. I am loving her makeup and hair to pieces- she looks stunning. I can’t stop looking at the dress, I don’t even know what to say other than I am amazed. And the star instead of a clutch? Genius.

Kei$ha: Number one: why is she at the Grammys? Number two: You’re at the Grammys, DO YOUR HAIR. Number three: the shoes do not go with the dress which does not go with her makeup. On someone else the dress would look gorgeous. I’m just not liking this look at all.

Katy Perry: It kills me to say this, because I am in love with Katy, but I just don’t know what she was thinking. I can usually appreciate her quirky fashion takes, but not this one. The dress is way too close to her skin colour, the sparkles and flowers look cheap and tacky, and for someone with such a hot body, we can hardly see anything! The clutch absolutely does not go, and her fringe should be off her face. I could go on, but I’m feeling guilty.

Fergie: I knew you had it in you girl! This look absolutely kills her look at the Golden Globes. The colour is gorgeous on her, and I love the gold embellishment wrapping around her shoulder! She’s accesorized perfectly with gold, to emphasize her dress, and her hair and makeup are smoking! Fergie, you sexy mumma, do this more often!

Beyonce: She can do no wrong. Love the gold, love the sholders, love the embellishment. The bling is perfect, and her sleek hair compliments the dress. The Grammy award in her hand is the perfect accesory. Beyonce, I applaud you.
