We all dread jeans shopping. Firstly, i’s a lot of effort to squeeze into a tight pair of denim jeans which hasn’t given so you are bound to work up a sweat. And secondly, it is never easy to guess which style which flatter you – whether you want the jeans to give you a bum, flatten your booty, eliminate hips or lengthen your pins. Read on for tips and definitions on how to make denim shopping that little bit easier…

Wide leg: These jeans sit below the waist and have a bootleg opening to flatter your curves. The wide leg jean is guaranteed to flatter your curves and take your look boldy into the new season. Tuck in a floaty blouse for a 70’s style twist. However, make sure the top isn’t too floaty or you will lose all your shape. You’ll end up looking you’re wearing a sack.

Slim Cropped: This are a new trend out for this season and is bound to be a hit. The slim cropped sits below the waist and is fitted through the leg, finishing in at a cropped length. These are a little young and fun and are a great summer alternative to jeans. Wear casually with a crisp white shirt and lace-ups for a touch of gamine-chic.

True Straight: The true straight jean sits below the waist and is straight through the hips and down the leg. This slim fit shape looks chic and modern paired with sky-high heels to lengthen your legs or even paired with flats for a comfy shopping adventure. These are your most versatile and must have jean for your wardrobe.

Super skinny: Not everyone is a fan but they are great to tuck into boots in winter. These jeans sit below the waist and are skinny through the leg and have a tapered ankle. This ultra skinny shape gives you legs for days however, it isn’t the most flattering style for every shape so, beware and gives these a try on first.

Best of luck ladies and enjoy your denim shopping!
