How long have you been modelling for? I have been modelling for about six years.

Have you joined a pageant before? If so, what was it and how did you go? I competed in Miss Global in the Philippines in 2015. I had the opportunity of meeting 50 different girls from all around the world! That amazing experience taught me so much about building my self-confidence, leadership and friendship. I really came out of my shell that year… I also placed in the top 10.

How do you feel about entering Miss World this year? I am very positive and excited to enter Miss World this year. Any experience like this is an excellent opportunity to meet new people and grow within myself. I can’t wait to be the best I can be. I believe that you never know who you may meet or where it might lead you.

What’s something unique and interesting about you OR can you tell us a funny story about you? When I was about four years old, I was at my family holiday house in Poland. It was the afternoon, and everyone was hot and tired, they all wanted to have a rest. My older brother by three years went next door to his friend’s house to play, and I decided I wanted to follow them. I was distracted by a particular pine cone on the ground so I went to pick it up. At the same time, a few meters away the dogs were getting fed and the mum dog, being overly protective, charged up at me and pushed me on the ground and attacked me. Initially, everyone thought I had lost an eye as there was blood all over my face. To this day I have a scar on my left cheek, everyone thinks it looks like a dimple. It has been very challenging to accept this, especially in my modelling career. Despite this tragic story, I still adore all animals especially dogs. Oh, just to let you know, it was a sausage dog.

Have you joined a pageant before? If so, what was it and how did you go? No, this is actually my first one! I’m so excited to compete in such a well-known competition.

How do you feel about entering Miss World this year? I feel nervous, but I’m very excited to be part of it. I’m honoured.

What’s something unique and interesting about you OR can you tell us a funny story about you? I used to sing and play instruments when I was younger. I was on this guitar orchestra-band with a relative of mine. We both played. But one day We got the honour to sing instead of playing the guitar, it was an ABBA song. We were excited, we practised for weeks, and we performed to an audience of around 300 people. When the orchestra started playing, I started singing the first words. My cousin then started singing, and I could hear that she was out of tune and she just sounded so bad and funny that I couldn’t hold it in anymore, so I started laughing out loud in the microphone! You ever had that moment when you are not supposed to laugh, but you just can’t stop laughing? That was it! I destroyed the whole song and laughed for about a minute, and the entire crowd started laughing with me. Then they started clapping and cheering to help me get back on track, and it helped! LOL, It was so embarrassing!

What’s something unique and interesting about you OR can you tell us a funny story about you? When I was 7 years old, I participated with my school (ESPN) to send stationary to the underprivileged in East Timor. Due to my efforts, I was selected to represent my school and was personally thanked by the president of East Timor. Meeting him was definitely an amazing moment. Being a part of something so special to help raise awareness of the disadvantages other children face and provide them with tools for the education was beyond a gratifying experience. Since then I have always actively participated within the community to push for equality and advocate for positive change no matter how small.
