“You don’t really understand the meaning and importance of your dreams until you experience rejection after rejection.” This sounds like a true melody that comes from the heart of a real performer, Zoe Osner. Beaming with dedication and love for her craft, Zoe effortlessly lands on our page as StarCentral Magazine’s Female Artist of the Month for the month of December.

At the age of 6, Zoe sang “Somewhere over the Rainbow” when she played Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz. It was a solo performance that really made her parents proud. From then on, she never strayed far. Currently, she still labours relentlessly to achieve a rewarding music career and to put life in every opportunity that crosses her way. This has kept her in sync with her goals especially that she doesn’t journey alone. Her family and friends are extremely supportive when it comes to her career choice and she gleefully shares how lucky she is to have people like them around her. They are all 100% behind everything that can make her happy.

Performing in front of an audience invites nerves and Zoe is no stranger to it. The good thing about her is how she turns it into a positive thing. She looks at it as an absolute thrill, which she embraces as she allows herself to get lost in the performance and just for that moment, become an entirely beautiful vessel of talent. Why not, with a musical magic like hers, even the audience will surely get lost in her moment.

Zoe’s touch in the performing arts industry is something worthy of admiration. Her music career continues and at one point, earned a memorable performance when she sang ‘Sandra Dee’ during one of her musical showcases. She is inspired by Beyoncé for all kinds of reasons, from being an incredible performer to being a strong feminist. For Zoe, staying inspired is an essential element in her career because it holds positive influences that will manifest in her performance.

This inspiration stretches far and reaches every single person within the Arts industry. She points to them as interesting people with wonderful story to tell. Zoe desires to understand each tale as they all share the same passion and they carry valuable lessons that will help her more in discovering the depth of her artistry.

The moment she tasted the gratifying feeling of performing, Zoe knew that this is the life made for her. Good singing sessions are hallmarks of her every day and she will never stop finding as many auditions as she can to harness her talent. Perfecting her craft by acquiring exemplary musical experiences is her way towards her dream of making a living within the performing arts industry. Clearly, Zoe believes in herself and in the gift that she has. There is no reason for success not to chase her.
