1. Michaela Baranov (Australia)

Michaela Baranov is a multi-award winning songwriter and the official songstress of the Waldorf Astoria Hotel in Dubai. Previously fulfilling the role of Youth Ambassador for the Australian Children’s Music Foundation, she is passionate about the impact of music and the power that can be carried across through a song or performance. Her style is reminiscent of Peggy Lee, with evidence of her cheeky and playful personality expressed with elegance and sophistication. In addition to her musical abilities, Michaela produces videos and also designs all creative content to achieve her visual aspirations. Having collaborated with some highly acclaimed music producers in Los Angeles, New York City, Nice (France) and Sydney; and Co-Directed videos in Los Angeles, New York City, Amsterdam and Nice (France), Michaela thrives off challenges and lives every day excelling positive energy and enthusiasm.

2. Alexis (Australia)

Take 1 esoteric gypsy traveller, 1 microphone, 1 laptop, 1 keyboard and a cold beer and you have “From My Bedroom Project”. Alexis is a passionate connoisseur of artistic expression.  Everything you see, hear or taste is created in the Bedroom with a bare-bones budget because she believes that music and creativity does not have be a costly venture and she’s here to reaffirm this. If you throw her a challenge she’s going to immerse herself in the creative chaos. She’s alternative in appearance but unconventionally imaginative beneath her exterior.

3. Becky Rhodes (Australia)

Becky Rhodes is a young performer who is currently based in Melbourne. Originally she hails from Brisbane, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Music from The Queensland Conservatorium of Music, late last year. She has been performing and training since she was just eight years old but she has never grown tired of the stage. She is currently in the Australian premiere production of “High Fidelity: The Musical” which will open at Chapel off Chapel in September this year. She also works as a singing and acting teacher to young kids at various studios around Melbourne. An aspiring singer/songwriter, Becky is a skilled vocalist who accompanies herself on guitar, piano, ukulele and violin. She is currently in the process of recording her first EP, which she is excited about sharing with the public and she is looking forward to seeing where her musical journey will take her.

  1. I would like to vote for Alexis. I have been watching this girl for some time and she has an infinite amount of talent. She is so refreshing in her music and has a style of her own. I predict we will hear a lot of her in the future. I think she’s got a real talent and very heartfelt subjects. She’s the real deal what a find and I believe no formal background of training just driven by her unending passion for creation. She’s number one for my vote!
