1. Tamika (Australia)

tamika

Rising star Tamika is currently making waves with her single “Reason to Get Even”. The song is quickly climbing the charts worldwide and is doing well in US, UK, Europe and Australasia. The song was actually picked up by more stations in its first day than any other single in the ‘Musik and Films Record’s’ History. With her energetic performances, charisma, charm and a voice that leaves audiences begging for more – Tamika is definitely ready to take on the world!

2. J Bird Taylor (New Zealand)

joanna

J.Bird Taylor is a singer/songwriter/performer who hails from Wellington, New Zealand. She has been in the music scene for over 15 years doing the hard slog in cover bands to earn a crust and get all the experience she could ever need to prepare herself for any live gigs that can be thrown at her at any time. She has played all over New Zealand and has even done contracts in both China and Oman as well. She has recorded two original albums to date – “So Bitter, So Sweet” and “Trap Doors” and she will never give up on pushing her own music out there to get it seen and heard.

3. Dana Musil (Australia)

DanaMusilHeadshot

Dana has always had a passion for musical theatre and performance from an early age. Most notable so far, has been her star turn as Dorothy Gale in the hugely successful production of Harvest Rain Theatre Company’s The Wizard of Oz at QPAC last year. Her performance was widely praised and she was lauded as “a supreme revelation” (Theatre People) for her work in the role. Early this year, she took part in the Australian Musical Theatre Workshop where she was able to meet with industry legends such as Toni Lamond, John Frost, Nancy Hayes, Simon Gallaher and more. Most recently she played the part of Karen in Peter Allen’s Trio in the Ignatians production of The Boy from Oz alongside Dale Pengelly. She is currently co-writing her first Cabaret show.

4. Iz Roth (UK)

iz

Iz Roth has been developing her techniques and skills in the past few months hoping to release a single later in the year. Originally focusing on R’n’B and Pop, the past year she was also exploring her love for soul and jazz and she has tried to incorporate her artistic influences into her lyrical style. She believes that music is something which needs to be felt, personal to anyone listening, and also needs to have embedding meaning in the words and emotion in which it is sung. In any song she writes and performs – she hopes to convey a message to which the listener can relate to. That to her, is the real meaning of music.
