Angel Locsin has just been nominated for an International Emmy Award for her role in “Lobo” – and we are definitely not surprised at all. She was totally phenomenal in that TV series so this Emmy nomination is very much deserved!
Well the Emmy’s wasn’t actually the only Award giving body to recognise the brilliance of the show “Lobo” and its actor and actresses, “Lobo” was also given an international award by the 2009 Bandd World Television Festival in Canada. This event, is actually widely known as ‘The Rockies,” its an award giving body dedicated to TV shows from all over the world.
Out of 800 entries and 29 countries, “Lobo” was chosen and nominated and so was the gorgeous Angel who will be pitted against renowned actresses such as Julie Walters for “A Short Star In Switzerland” produced by BBC from the UK, Emma de Caunes for her role in “Night Birds” from CHEZ WAM, France, and Cecilia Suarez for “Capadocia.” The award up for grabs is called “Best Single Performance by An Actress.”

Well whoever expected that playing a wolf can bring so much international fame? But then again the vampires and werewolves from the Twilight series are so big right now so I guess underworld creatures are the in thing these days!
Congratulations Angel! I’m pretty confident that this won’t be the first and last international Emmy nomination you’ll be nominated for – Awooo!
Okay I admit, that wolf cry was kind of corny.
