Rosalinda is making its way to the top

The last time we mentioned the TV series Rosalinda, their ratings were quite abysmal.

Well it looks like those terrible ratings were just a distant memory as the ratings for the show is going up, up and away! It seems that the Carla Abellana and Geoff Eigenmann tandem is actually making its way to the top.

From its debut ratings of 26.3 percent, Rosalinda upped the ante and managed to increase its rating to 28.9 percent rating for two consecutive nights (July 7 & to brush past other TV shows and reposition itself to third place. Last July, 9 Rosalinda’s rating rose even higher to 31.9 percent and soared up again to No. 2!

This data by the way was based on AGB Nielsen Philippines ratings among Mega Manila households.

The primetime by the way is still dominated by Richard Gutierrez’s “Zorro” and the daytime is still dominated by the powerhouse noontime show “Eat Bulga!,” which apparently has a 7 percent advantage over its nearest rival.

I guess Richard Gutierrez’s tight black outfit and mysterious black mask is doing it for the ladies since his show is consistently at number 1. And no surprises there about Eat Bulaga since it’s pretty much a fixture in daytime TV already.  .

Well it looks like the race is on to the top. So peoples get some chicharon, kropek and manggang hilaw with bagoong and watch some TV shows! Looks like the TV networks are bracing themselves for the ratings battle – and we’re the lucky ones to watch the clash unfold!
