Although critics slammed Judy Ann Santos and Ogie Alcasid’s Oh My Girl (OMG) down because of its cliché storyline, Judy Ann and Ogie just covered their ears and shrugged the criticisms off as their movie raked in P10.3 Million on its 1st Week in the box office – Take that critics! The people have spoken and OMG! OMG (Oh My Girl ) is a hit!

Oh My Girl actually opened at no. 3 with a weekend haul of P4.3 million which is pretty damn good. The Proposal lead the Philippine box-office with P22.87 million for the weekend of July 29 to August 2 – which once again proves how romantic at heart we Filipino’s are.

Overall, Oh My Girl (OMG) ranked number 9 in the Top 10 Pinoy Movies of 2009.
