Screen stars often get the population drooling: think Megan Fox, Scarlett Johansson, Jessica Alba… But what about the lust worthy stars that we watch every day?
Here are StarCentral Magazine’s top sexy sitcom stars:
1. Sofia Vegara
It’s very hard to believe this woman is 39 years old. This mamasita is best known for her winning combination of stunning looks, va va voom hourglass frame and impeccable comedic talent. Vegara tops “sexiest lists” the world over. She was discovered by a photographer while at the beach.
She has a score of award nominations under her belt – two for the Golden Globe Awards, two for the Primetime Emmy Awards, and three Screen Actors Guild Awards for Best Comedy Actress for her role is the hugely successful American sitcom “Modern Family”.
Classic quote: “I’m a natural blonde. But when I started acting, I would go to auditions and they didn’t know where to put me because I was voluptuous and had the accent–but I had blonde hair. It was ignorance: they thought every Latin person looks like Salma Hayek.”
2. Kat Dennings
Flying high the funny, curvy and downright sexy flag is Kat Dennings, star of the CBS series “Two Broke Girls”. A successful screen star (Thor, Nick and Nora’s Infinite Playlist) Dennings made the transition to sitcom star as she “liked the idea of reaching a wider audience with her work.”
Dennings is stunning – her full, pouty lips and bountiful bust are sure fire winners. However, it isn’t just beauty that has won her legions of fans on both the big screen and small. Her comedic prowess is spot on: cue deadpan delivery and sarcastic humour in that husky voice.
Classic Quote: “There’s nothing else I would rather do, unless there was a profession that involved cuddling bunny rabbits and kittens all day for money.”
3. Kaley Cucoco
The quintessential blonde bombshell/ girl next door, Kaley Cucoco is also one hell of a funny chick. Unless you have been living under a rock you would know her as Penny on the “Big Bang Theory”.
Big, beautiful green eyes and honeyed tresses sure can’t hurt her popularity, but her comedic talent shouldn’t be ignored. Without Penny – and Cucoco – ” The Big Bang Theory” just wouldn’t work.
Classic Quote: “People tend to think they know you when you come into their TV’s every week. They think you are different than who you are. Don’t believe everything you hear.”
4. John Krasinski
Here’s one for the girls. Male sitcom celebrities are often overlooked but it’s hard to look past this cute-as-a-button star of “The Office (US version)”. “Tall and handsome” and “like a teddy-bear” are some ways to describe Krasinski who plays Jim Halpert in the much acclaimed series.
He’s not without sex appeal – having been featured in the “Sexiest Man Alive” issue of “People Magazine”. There’s something about Krasniski’s portrayal of a goofy nice guy with a slight sarcastic edge that is very attractive. Unfortunately, he is married – to actress Emily Blunt.
Classic Quote – “For a while, we were all thinking about applying to a restaurant close to the studio, so that at a moment’s notice we could go work over there. I remember thinking, We get a DVD of this, right? At least I can prove to my mom that it happened. Now people actually care about it” – on “The Office: US Version” (2005).
5. Bianca Kajlich
A lesser known, yet still undoubtedly sexy sitcom star, brunette hottie Bianca Kajilch plays a supporting role in the CBS sitcom “Rules of Engagement”. A career that has spanned many “bit parts” has finally resulted in some notoriety for her part in the series, which stars David Spade.
Kajilch’s distincitive looks are a mixture of her Italian and Czechoslovakian heritage. Certainly one to watch, Kajilch holds her amongst the cast. She certainly eschews the rail thin look and embraces her curvy figure. Quite cheeky in chat show interviews, Kajiilch also has numerous tattoos.
Classic Quote: (When asked if her numerous tattoos were a good thing) “I guess it is to the people who get to see them.”
