7. Clogged Arteries

Have you got clogged arteries? Try eating avocados; avocados are a superb source of vitamin E and essential fatty acids, the Mono-unsaturated fat in avocados actually lowers down your cholesterol.

8. Cough

Coughing like a dog on steroids? Try increasing your consumption of red pepper. Believe it or not, a substance similar to that found in cough syrups are also found in hot red pepper as well.

9. Diarrea

Are you running in and out of the toilet as if your butt is on fire? Try grated, raw and sweet apples because they’re a rich source of pectin which is a soluble fibre. Peel an apple, let it turn a bit brown and then eat it in this condition. Try eating banana as well, bananas and apples usually normalize colonic functions in the large intestines and therefore helps prevent diarrea.

10. Hay fever

Hay fever can be as annoying as a relentless zit. Therefore, try eating a large consumption of yoghurt before the pollen season. The ‘bacilli’ which can also be found in yoghurts can relieve you from your hay fever.

11. Headaches

If you’re experiencing constant headaches try eating plenty of fish. For some reason fish actually helps put an end to those nasty headaches. Try taking ginger as well since ginger actually reduces inflammation and pain.

12. High Blood Pressure

People with high blood pressure may be able to reduce their high blood pressure by incorporating a constant high olive oil intake in their diet – especially extra virgin olive oil. A daily dose of celery has also been discovered to lower blood pressure as well. An old Chinese remedy for high blood pressure actually involves drinking celery juice; you can make it using your blender. Let me warn you though – celery juice is not for the faint hearted!

13. Insomnia

Can’t sleep? Try using honey as a sedative. Honey actually has sleep inducing properties that can help you with your insomnia.
