WIN an easy $50 just for leaving a comment!

To celebrate the launch of StarCentral Daily, effective as of Monday (June 1, 2009) we are launching the “Profile of the Month Comment Competition.”

Who is this competition open to?

This competition is open to local artists, entertainment industry specialists, models or just any individual who enjoys networking and having fun.

What’s the point of this competition?

It is our aim to promote overlooked untapped and undervalued local artists and individuals out there that deserve to be recognised.

How do you enter?

To enter for the “Profile of the month: Comment competition”, you can submit an email with your photo to either:

admin@starcentralmagazine.com or eileen@starcentralmagazine.com

To enter the $50 blog competition, simply comment on the posted Profile of the Month (towards the bottom of the page) or any of the blog entries in the website. Comments should either relate to the profile of the month or to what is being discussed on the posted blog article. Offensive or derogatory comments will be removed.

Are there any rules?

At the end of each month, the top 4 leaders of the “Profile of the Month Comment Competition” will be given the choice to either step down from the competition or remain in the competition to be commented on for the next month. The bottom 4 will unfortunately be taken out of the comment competition and placed on the queue.

Individuals are eligible to win for only 2 months straight; they can no longer be nominated again for the competition if they’ve already won for two months in a row. They can however, be considered to join the competition again after a 6 month period.

Voting officially commences at the start of the month and draws to an end at the end of each month at exactly 12am.

How will you establish a winner?

The competition will last for the duration of a month every month. The winner of the “Profile of the Month Comment Competition” will be the person with the most legitimate comments on their photo page.

What’s the prize?

The winners will be notified by email and/or phone as soon the competition for the month comes to an end.  The winner of profile of the month each month will be featured in the next issue of StarCentral Magazine and will also receive $100 cash.

However, people can also win an easy $50 by simply making a comment!

To win an easy $50, all you need to do is write a comment on any post from StarCentral Daily, we also consider your comments from the “Profile of the Month Comment Competition”. Just make sure that you fill in a proper email address in the field when you leave the comment!

At the end of each week, the StarCentral team will be posting the leaders of the “Profile of the Month Comment Competition” as well as the best comments of the week so far. At the end of the month, we’ll notify the winner via email so we can give him his $50 cash prize.

The criteria that the StarCentral team will use to judge the best monthly comment is open and subjective. But we’ll be looking for qualities such as – insightful, topical, witty, relevant, funny and most definitely NOT SPAM.

SPAM comments in any form will be deleted. We also do not approve comments that were left for the sole purpose of posting a link.
