What: One of the largest Pacific multicultural premier fashion events, Pacific International Runway, returns to Sydney after a year break to explore the Pacific Region in search of fresh new designers, locally and abroad.
Four seasons ago, Pacific International Runway (PIR) became an international platform for resort wear collections, together with daywear to evening wear. It presented a unique offering as the only season where northern and southern hemisphere buying calendars align, drawing influential buyers and media to Sydney from across the globe. It won’t only promote established Australian & International designers but provide a platform for emerging talent to launch their collections, which has positioned Sydney as a fashion capital on the global circuit.
Designers from Australia, NZ, Samoa, Cook Island, Fiji, Papua New Guinea, Solomon Islands, Tonga, and India come together to share their latest collection for 2020.
All the Pacific’s hottest names in fashion will be in town. To date, we have David Tua, former heavyweight boxer all the way from NZ, who will launch his sportswear and evening wear, so join in the buzz at this exciting event.
