Belgian teenager wakes up with 56 stars tattooed on her face

A Belgian teenager got the shock of her life when she woke up with 56 stars tattooed on her face as opposed to the 3 stars she requested for.

I’m guessing that “twinkle twinkle little star” is not one of her favourite songs anymore.

The teenager in question is Kimberley Vlaminck, she’s 18 years old and she’s from the city of Kortrijk, northwest of Brussels.

She said she fell asleep during the whole procedure, and woke up in pain when her nose was being tattooed.

A spokesman for the Kortrijk prosecutors’ office said police were investigating the matter after the teenager lodged a complaint against the tattooist.

Now there are two conflicting statements in this matter, the tattooist is saying that Kimberley had agreed to 56 stars, but then she was saying that she only wanted 3 stars in the first place so which one is it really?

“She agreed, but when her father saw it, the trouble started,” Belgian newspaper Het Laatste Nieuws quoted the tattooist as saying.

Apparently she had nearly 3000 fans within hours of her story being leaked to the media.

First of all let’s look at the very obvious fact here, how the hell can someone mistake 3 from 56??

It’s either the tattooist is a real dumbass with a brain the size of a dried peanut, or he’s so senile he’s got a hearing disability! Or maybe he is right; the girl agreed to the 56 stars but changed her mind when her father didn’t like it. And which father would approve of such a thing anyway? Seriously, I don’t think anyone can be that dumb to make such a mistake!

Unless she whispered her request into his ear really, really faintly and softly – almost as if the tattooist can’t hear her. “I want 3 stars ok?” (In the softest voice in the world) and he replied “What’s that you said? 56 stars? Yep, sure.”

Secondly, she said she fell asleep during the whole procedure, and woke up in pain when her nose was being tattooed. Now how the heck can you fall asleep whilst getting 56 stars tattooed in your face?? It’s not like you’re getting a manicure or a pedicure here honey, these are some serious needles ripping through your skin here. And she said she only woke up in pain when her nose was being tattooed??

Oh really now?

So you fell asleep whilst 55 stars were being tattooed and just woke up when the 56th star was finally drilled into your face?? So what else happened? Did you suddenly flinch and the tattooist slipped so he ended up tattooing an extra 53 stars? Did you sneeze and he ended up accidentally drilling oh, um, an extra 53 stars?

Puh-leazze. Sounds like one hell of a buyer’s remorse to me.
