When’s the last time you talked to God?

Who’s seen the movie ‘The next voice you hear?’

Well it’s actually a 1950’s movie so I’m not sure if any of you would have seen or heard of it. The plot actually revolves around the trials and tribulations that a typical family faces on a daily basis.

One night a voice claiming to be that of God is heard on their radio, and it’s not just on their radio- it blocked all radio programs and played for days all over the world saying the same thing at the same time.

At first, people were of course sceptical of this strange ‘Voice,’ how is it even possible that God is speaking through a radio? But then as time went by, the strange ‘Voice’ began to affect people’s attitudes and priorities – for the BETTER. The impact of God’s voice has suddenly affected how the people in the movie usually go about in their daily lives.

Now here’s a thought: Do you ever think to yourself  ”I wish I could personally talk to God so he could tell me where to go and what to do.”

Well guess what?

He already has spoken to us.

He has spoken to us through his LIVING word – the BIBLE. Now when was the last time you opened our bibles and listened to him?

Do we really need to hear God over the radio or maybe the TV for us to take notice and listen to him?

Bottom-line: If your bible has now gathered dust and is just lying there and no one has actually touched it for years, open it and read his word.
