Everytime I have a huge sweet tooth craving nothing satisfies it better than chocolate and sweet bakery treats. Unfortunately this sudden urge to eat sweets can come up at any stage – especially after lunch and dinner.
I have just found the perfect cure to my cravings – a scrumptious cupcake from ‘Cupcakes on Pitt’. Cupcakes on Pitt was created by a brother and sister duo on Pitt Street in Sydney’s bustling CBD and now they have stores in Chatswood and Parramatta.
In over 20 years, this family business has managed to remain unique and stand out from other ‘cupcake copy cats’ by their handcrafted cupcakes which are still rolled, whisked, whipped, and decorated by hand.
I find that these cupcakes are a perfect little treat to spoil yourself or to spoil a friend, family member or that special someone. They also make the perfect treat for co-workers or clients as well as gifts for special holiday occasions such as halloween, Easter, Christmas, anniversaries and more. I can guarantee that you will be able to find a cupcake for almost any occasion!
The only problem with these cupcakes is that they are almost too cute too eat. The first bite is the killer as it destroys the pretty decorations and whipped icing on top but it tastes so good that you just couldn’t be bothered to care!
The flavours and varieties of cupcakes could go on forever but here are a few of them to get your mouth watering; orange jaffa, chocolate brownie, mango and coconut, lemo meringue, vanilla sundae, blackforest, sticky date, cookies and cream banana, honeycomb, tiramusu and carrot just to name a few.
