What: The annual Sydney Tea Festival returns to Carriageworks on Sunday, 18 August 2019. Festival-goers will again be spoilt with a range of world-class loose-leaf teas, and a refreshed program of workshops, talks and special features.
Spend the day wandering around a vibrant tea market that features dozens of specialty and artisan tea stalls. You’ll discover teas and tisanes of all kinds, from all over the world, as you make your way around the market place with a tea tasting cup in hand. Pick up some hand-made teaware, blend your very own tea at the DIY tea blending station, and indulge in some sweet and savoury treats. There’s also a program of workshops and talks hosted by some of Australia’s leading specialists.
